How the work gets done

01 — How we work

The floor goes down fast.

Crews sized to finish whole phases in one shift — up to 30,000 square feet in a day — with coverage measured in mils and logged batch by batch.

Then lines, to your layout.

Bay and aisle marking to your traffic plan, cure times matched to the system and the season, and each section phased back into service as it completes.

Built for occupied buildings.

Most of our work happens while the building keeps operating. Phasing, containment and overnight windows are part of the plan, not an afterthought.

Handed back ready to work.

With documentation of what went down, where and how thick — the record your engineer and your next depreciation report will want.

The system

How a traffic coating system works

Preparation, waterproofing and wear protection work as one system: a primer bonds to the prepared concrete, a flexible membrane does the waterproofing, and the coats above it take the traffic. The exact build-up is selected for each project.

  1. PrimerBonds the system to the prepared concrete so nothing above it can let go.
  2. Base coatThe waterproofing membrane. It stays flexible and bridges the hairline cracks that open and close beneath it.
  3. Wear coat, loaded with aggregateCarries the traffic. Aggregate broadcast into this coat gives abrasion resistance and grip.
  4. Top coatSeals the aggregate in and takes the sunlight; it is the coat renewed in a recoat.
