Vulkem 801
Heavy-Duty, Aluminized Coating
Vulkem® 801 is a liquid-applied,
single-component, heavy duty, aluminized polyurethane coating system
that has been formulated to have high tensile strength, tear strength
and elongation, all in a viscosity grade that can be used horizontally
and vertically. This coating forms a tough, weather resistant,
waterproof, elastomeric coating for a variety of waterproofing
applications that require a weather-resistant coating.
Basic Uses
- Vulkem 801 is suitable for application to
substrates that have had loose materials completely removed and major
defects repaired and leveled by conventional methods.
- Vulkem 801 may be used in cooling water
tanks* where a high performance protective coating is required that can
handle both horizontal and vertical application.
- It has excellent resistance to ponded water.
- It can be used in gutter and rainwater applications.
- Vulkem 801 is often used as a repair to built-up roof decks where a temporary fix is required to fill roof replacement.
- It is also used to connect inverted roof
waterproofing membranes to the exposed parapet that still requires
waterproofing, as it features good UV stability.

Vulkem EWS
Cold-Applied Pedestrian/Vehicular Coating System – Ready for Use 1 Hour After Application
Vulkem® EWS with PUMA technology is designed
to have tenacious adhesion and extreme abrasion resistance. It can be
walked on in one hour, which will minimize operation disruption. Vulkem
Extreme Wearing System (EWS) is a waterproof traffic deck coating that
utilizes polyurethane-methacrylate (PUMA) technology. Vulkem EWS is
composed of a primer (Tremco PUMA Primer), a base coat (Tremco PUMA BC),
and a top coat (Tremco PUMA TC). All system components are cured using
Tremco PUMA Initiator.
Basic Uses
- Heavy Duty: Designed for heavily abused areas, such as loading docks and areas that are snow plowed.
- Helipad: Designed for extreme wear use, such as landing areas or platforms for helicopters and powered lift aircrafts
- Pedestrian: Designed to withstand repetitive pedestrian traffic such as stadiums and balconies.
- Vehicular: Designed to withstand vehicular
traffic that occurs in the drive lanes, ramps, helical turns, and ticket
spitter of a parking structure.
- Under Tile: Designed for tile, pavers, and bonded overburden.

Vulkem OC810
One-Coat, Low-Odor, Low-VOC Deck Coating for Light Pedestrian Applications
Vulkem® OC810 Coating is a high-solids,
aliphatic urethane membrane designed to be applied in one coat as a
waterproofing system. A minimum thickness of 25 mils is required. Vulkem
OC810 must be used with Tremco Rubber Aggregate 12-20 mesh.
Basic Uses
- Vulkem OC810 Coating is ideal for light pedestrian traffic areas such as balconies, roof terraces, and mechanical rooms.
- It also can be used as a waterproofer for window eyebrow applications.
